Celebration in the Elbauenpark

As the youngest park in the city, the Elbauenpark conquered the hearts of Magdeburg residents and their guests, and has been added to a long list of the city’s historic parks and gardens.
Numerous attractions make the park a unique cultural landscape. The Millennium Tower, the highest wooden tower in the world, is home to a five-storey history exhibition covering 6 000 years of science and technology.
A stage surrounded by a lake offers a great variety of cultural events and shows each year. The Butterfly House is home to 200 exotic butterflies and moths from five continents, as well as tropical plants, lizards, locusts, and other small animals. Attractive events have developed their own distinct traditions and attract visitors from far and wide.
